Half Term Message from Mrs Graver

Just a few reminders as we go into the last half term of this academic year.

Start of the day
If you are dropping off a KS2 child at the roundabout in your car, please do not arrive before 8.30pm.  It is strictly no parking or no waiting outside school.

If you have a child in reception, Y1 or Y2 and you need to walk them to their class, please do not park directly outside school.  You MUST park at Lynn Sport and walk.

If you are coming to breakfast club, this starts at 8.00am, please do not arrive before this time.

The drop off period is still any time between 8.30am and 8.40am.

End of the day
If you are arriving by car to collect a KS2 child, please do not arrive before 3pm.  This will allow time for the class to come out and for your child to come straight to your car to go.  You must not park or wait in front of school.

If you are collecting a child from reception, Y1 or Y2 and you need to get out of your car to collect them, you must park at Lynn Sport and walk.

The pick up period is still any time between 3.00pm and 3.10pm.

Please approach and leave the roundabout slowly and do not mount the kerb when you drop off or pick up.

Please help us to keep the area in front of school safe for everyone.

Thank you to all those people who walk to school, bike or scooter to school.  The other day I counted 22 scooters and 33 bikes in the bike racks – that is amazing!

Covid symptoms

Thank you to everyone being so vigilant, we have managed to avoid having to close any bubbles in school since we returned after lockdown and we would like to try and keep it this way until the end of the summer term.

A reminder that if your child displays any of the following 3 symptoms:

• A new continuous cough

• A raised temperature

• A loss of sense of taste or smell

You must isolate and seek a test as soon as possible. If your child tests positive at any point during the holiday, please let the office know straight away by emailing office@greenpark.norfolk.sch.uk

If anyone else in the household develops any of the above symptoms, they must also isolate and seek a test as soon as possible.

The final summer term starts on Monday 7th June 2021, please be reminded that your child must not come to school if they have any of the above symptoms.

I hope you all have a lovely half term break.
