Operation Encompass
We are an Operation Encompass school.
Encompass has been set up to help schools provide support to children who have been present at incidents of domestic violence.
Greenpark Academy takes part in this jointly run operation with Norfolk County Council and Norfolk Police. The school will receive a confidential notification by email on the morning following any domestic incident where a child at our school had been involved, present or witnessed.
The information is accessed by the school's Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) who are: Mrs Graver, Mr Jones and Mr Stanton. The DSLs are then able to direct support to be put in place dependent on the needs and wishes of the child and family.
We are keen to offer the best support possible to our pupils and parents.
